Frequently asked questions

Will I have to follow a strict eating plan?
NO! That is the whole reason why I created this course. To teach you a formula (structure or framework) for eating in a way that decreases inflammation and supports your hormone status during the menopause transition. The formula is easy to follow, and remember, and can be used anywhere; restaurants, parties, or on a regular night at home. You won’t have to second guess whether you are eating the right things, in the right amounts, at the right time anymore.
How much time will this take?
The course is 6 weeks, during which I teach the formula and you experiment with it step-by-step. During the 6 weeks, I would set aside 30 minutes to an hour a day to complete the course materials. After the course is over you will have all the knowledge you need to adopt the formula into your life. Consistency is key and is developed over time. My best advice when it comes to making the formula a habit is to take a small step toward your goal every day. Before you know it, you will be there.
How long will it take me to lose weight?
This is a highly individualized question and depends on multiple factors including your health and hormone status as well as how much weight you would like to lose. This course is not a “lose 10 lbs in 10 days” program, those things are usually just marketing ploys anyway, and most of the time lead to gaining the weight back sooner than later. This formula is meant to nourish your body and begin to lose weight without feeling hungry or deprived, (which also means it is a sustainable way for long-term weight maintenance). I want every woman to say goodbye to yo-yo dieting.

As a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience and a special needs mom, I understand the immense importance of a woman’s health and well-being. We are the center of our families and communities, the ones who carry the world on our shoulders. From managing schedules to creating to-do lists, preparing meals, and cleaning up life’s messes, we play countless roles in our families and careers.

But in the middle of it all, we often forget to care for ourselves. Sometimes for decades.

My own health journey led me through various diet and exercise plans, each with temporary results and relentless cycles of monitoring every bite of food I put in my mouth.
